The flagship EXG™ configuration — 12-Lead diagnostic ECG in a wearable form factor
The EXG™ 12-Lead Wearable ECG is the flagship configuration of the EXG™ platform from C-Booth Innovations. It delivers continuous 12-Lead diagnostic monitoring in a wearable that goes on in under 60 seconds and stays on for up to three days — tolerating diaphoresis and showering across the episode of care.
Now available through Heart Medical for U.S. hospitals, EMS agencies, and cath labs.
Why the flagship configuration matters
Standard 12-Lead ECG carries a documented electrode misapplication rate of 94.2% (Rouan et al., Am J Cardiol 1989; 64(18):1087–1092), and just 2 cm of misplacement can obscure critical ST-segment changes and hide a heart attack (Bond et al. 2012). The EXG™ 12-Lead addresses these failures at the source: the wearable form factor places electrodes at consistent anatomical positions across ED, ICU, medical/surgical, and cardiology, regardless of who deploys it or where.
Key features — 12-Lead configuration
- Continuous diagnostic 12-Lead monitoring across the entire episode of care
- Expandable to 18-Lead for Right-sided and Posterior visualization — pair with the EXG™ 3-Lead reversible
- 3-day continuous wear — once skin is prepped, can be worn through diaphoresis and showering for extended monitoring
- CPR compatible — tolerates Manual & Mechanical CPR (LUCAS); wearable stays on during resuscitation
- Radiolucent design — supports continuous 12-Lead monitoring throughout imaging procedures without repositioning
- Single-cable design — single connection enables setup in under 60 seconds; one adapter works across every EXG™ configuration
- AHA-compliant electrode placement
- Disposable, per-patient — single-use consumable
- Universal compatibility — one cable fits any standard ECG monitor
Clinical applications
- EMS / prehospital STEMI transport — 12-Lead ECG in under 60 seconds, motion artifact reduction, universal compatibility with LP15, X Series, and other portable ECG monitors
- Emergency department triage and continuous diagnostic monitoring
- ICU and critical care — continuous 12-Lead across multi-day admissions
- Cardiology consults and pre-stress-echo assessment
- Cath lab procedures — continuous 12-Lead through diagnostic cath, PCI, TAVR planning, MitraClip delivery (radiolucent, CPR compatible)
- Peri-procedural monitoring in recovery bays
Certifications and compliance
Certified for professional medical use: FDA-Registered, AHA-Compliant & ISO-13485 Certified.

Purchase and configuration workflow
- Request a scoped quote. Share the audience (EMS, hospital, or cath lab), volume estimate, and existing ECG monitor infrastructure.
- Configuration walkthrough. Confirm 12-Lead is the right primary configuration and whether you also need 3-Lead reversible or 5-Lead alongside.
- Deployment planning. Coordinate with your biomed / clinical engineering team on integration and applications training.
- Standing-order supply. EXG™ 12-Lead is disposable per-patient — predictable-volume programs benefit from standing-order setup.
